High School and Beyond Plan

Four vertical panels, representing credits, planning, a pathway, and graduation, are displayed above the text %22College & Career Ready.%22

Beginning fall 2026, LWSD will launch SchooLinks, a new, state-supported platform that provides an enhanced experience for students in grades 7–12.

The High School and Beyond Plan (HSBP) is designed to guide students, families, and staff through high school and into the student's future.

Plans are personalized and designed to help students set, visualize, and work to achieve goals. LWSD students will begin their HSBP in 7th grade and continue to build upon their plan each year through 12th grade.

Once complete and submitted, each student will be awarded 1.0 competency based, elective credit. Seniors must complete their HSBP to walk in graduation.

Using SchooLinks, students and families can:

  • Access career interest, strength and mindset surveys
  • Explore 2-year and 4-year colleges
  • Create course plans based on career pathways
  • Take virtual reality college campus tours
  • Search for scholarships
  • Learn about financial aid
  • Find internship and volunteer opportunities
  • Explore traditional, emerging and military career fields
  • Create digital portfolios/resumes
  • Communicate with counselors
  • Grow their High School and Beyond Plan

When students return to school, they’ll be able to access SchooLinks through ClassLink, making it easy to get started right away.
