Fieldhouse and community pool refurbishment at Juanita High School
When Juanita High School was rebuilt and enlarged in 2019, the community recommended that the current fieldhouse and pool facility be retained. The only upgrade that was provided to the building at that time was exterior paint in order to better match the new educational facility. Both facilities are in need of upgrades and modernization in order to maintain these community assets.

Redmond, Wash. – At the May 20, 2024, Board Meeting, Lake Washington School District proposed a Building Excellence Capital Construction Levy ballot measure for the November 5, 2024, election.
At the November 20 School Board Study Session, Associate Superintendent Barbara Posthumus, Superintendent Holmen and Executive Director of Support Services Brian Buck shared an update to Phase 2 of the Building Excellence Plan.
Redmond, Wash. – On Wednesday, September 6, the King County Council announced that the Juanita High School Aquatics Center was one of 53 projects selected for a 2023 Parks Levy Grant. The Juanita High School Aquatics Renovation, Phase 2 project will receive $2 million from King County Parks.
