Rebuild and Enlarge Emerson Campus
As part of the 2022 Building Excellence Construction Levy, voters approved funding additional high school capacity on the westside of the district. At the October 2 school board study session, staff shared the new facility will be constructed on the Emerson campus to create space for additional students. The project goals include providing space for early learning, enhance opportunity and long-term viability of infant daycare services for enrolled students and families, addressing the aging facility and capitalizing on currently beneficial yet under-enrolled educational programs. Continued work will be needed to reimagine the educational programming for Emerson High School and Emerson K-12.
