Project Updates

KiMS modular construction

Kirkland Middle School (KiMS) embraced innovation with the arrival of modular structures, paving the way for accommodating 200 more students. This expansion, featuring eight-classrooms, is a testament to community support, realized through the passing of the 2022 Building Excellence Levy.

KiMS construction

Capital projects staff visited the manufacturer's warehouse, Blazer Industries, a few weeks ago to see the addition structure in pieces, or "modules" at this off-site location.

FHMS construction

As part of the 2022 Building Excellence Construction Levy, Finn Hill Middle School, Kirkland Middle School, and Redmond Middle School are all adding eight more classrooms starting in the fall of 2024.
