Evergreen Middle School students honored with President’s Volunteer Service Award
Thirteen students from Evergreen Middle School have been recognized with the prestigious President’s Volunteer Service Award for their exceptional commitment to community service. These students dedicated up to as much as 165 hours to meaningful volunteer work; demonstrating leadership, compassion and a strong sense of civic responsibility. Their efforts were carefully documented and verified through a formal process.
According to the website, the purpose for the President's Volunteer Service Award is to honor the hundreds of thousands of people across America that have volunteered hundreds, if not thousands, of volunteer hours over their lifetime. The program was established to honor the volunteer works of individuals, families and organizations throughout the United States.
