Troy Anderson from Eastlake High School has been selected by the National Federation of State High School (NFHS) Associations to receive the prestigious 2023-24 NFHS Coaches Association Sectional Coaches Award in Boys Track & Field. According to the NFSH, this honor reflects Anderson’s dedication, hard work and outstanding contributions to coaching youth through interscholastic activities.

“On behalf of the WIAA, I can say, without hesitation, that you represent the true meaning of the spirit of coaching our youth through interscholastic activities,” said Mick Hoffman, Executive Director of the WIAA. “You are most deserving of the honor of this recognition and have made all of us in the state of Washington proud.”

“Lake Washington School District and Eastlake High School congratulate Troy Anderson on this honor and recognition,” said Dr. Jon Holmen, Superintendent of Lake Washington School District. “Thank you, Troy, for representing Lake Washington School District, Eastlake High School and the Track & Field/Cross Country community so well. We are proud to have one of our own recognized in this manner.”
