LWHS Green Team raises awareness with anti-idling event

LWHS Green Team raises awareness with anti-idling event

In early April, the Lake Washington High School (LWHS) Green Team held an after-school event aimed at educating parents, students and other drivers on the environmental impact of idling. Students put up anti-idling signs and distributed flyers for drivers in “waiting mode” in the school drop-off/pick-up area. This event was one of many sustainability events happening throughout the year in partnership with the school, PTSA and community.
