Ding, ding, ding – Lake Washington High School student excels at statewide quiz bowl tournament
Naman Mishra LWHS student

Lake Washington High School (LWHS) freshman Naman Mishra showcased exceptional knowledge and determination at the Washington Fall Classic, an annual high school quiz bowl tournament hosted by the University of Washington and organized by National Academic Quiz Tournaments (NAQT). The 2025 event took place online on November 8, 2025.

While most schools competed with teams made up of multiple players, as many as six on one team, Naman represented LWHS individually and still managed to find success. Competing in the Junior Varsity division, Naman earned first place in individual statistics and finished second in the team standings.

The Washington Fall Classic is known for its challenging academic questions spanning literature, science, history and current events. Detailed results are available on the High School Quiz Bowl tournament page.
