Video: McAuliffe students bike, walk and roll to school
Students and families celebrated Walk and Roll to School Day at McAuliffe Elementary School a few days early this year. As the sun came out on Friday, May 3, families gathered at Summer Ridge Park as students were able to get a little play time in before starting their walk or roll to school. The kids had a great time walking and riding bikes with friends. The event celebrates the importance of safe and active transportation as well as reduces the traffic around the school. National Walk and Roll to School Day is on Wednesday, May 8, 2024, this year.
