National School of Character recognition for Clara Barton Elementary (2023) and Ella Baker Elementary (2022)

Clara Barton Elementary in Redmond was recognized as a National School of Character. It is the only school in Washington state, and one of just 36 schools across the country, to receive the award in 2023.

In 2022, Ella Baker Elementary was recognized as a National School of Character. Both schools were also named State Schools of Character in 2022.
