Franklin Elementary students get “Kraken”!

Franklin Elementary students get “Kraken”!

Students at Franklin Elementary were recently treated to a special visit from two members of the Seattle Kraken organization. Kraken center Frederick Gaudreau, and the team's beloved mascot, Buoy, spent an afternoon visiting select classrooms. Gaudreau answered questions from students about teamwork, perseverance and what it's like to play professional hockey.

“The visit was an unforgettable experience that encouraged children to dream big, work hard and support one another – just like a great team does,” said Franklin school counselor Stacey O’Brien. “We are grateful to the Seattle Kraken for taking the time to connect with our community and for making the afternoon so memorable!”
