Audubon Battle of the Books
On May 23, the 4th and 5th graders at Audubon Elementary formed teams to participate in the district-wide Battle of the Books, a quiz show contest where students answer questions about a selected set of books they have read. The school's top three teams then faced off against the staff team in a bid for school supremacy. The 4th, and 5th graders eagerly watched the annual competition, where the Brilliant Beaming Book Bearers narrowly claimed victory over the other two student teams and the staff team. Third graders were on hand to watch the competition as well since they will be eligible to participate next year.
