Video: Rockwell students cheer construction progress at topping out ceremony
Rockwell Elementary is in the middle of an unforgettable year. On December 18, students and families gathered for the topping out ceremony for the school’s new building. You could hear the crowd chanting “Raise the Beam” while construction workers hoisted the final beam. All of the construction progress and changes to the school grounds this year speaks to the power of teamwork and collaboration from everyone at Rockwell Elementary and this community. The roofing installation will begin next month to protect the building from the weather. The new building is on schedule to open for the 2026-27 school year.
