Mark Twain Elementary Core Expansion – New Gym
The contractor on the Mark Twain Elementary core expansion project has been preparing for the first major concrete pour, which is scheduled this week, weather permitting. The next major milestone will be the delivery and assembly of steel, which is scheduled for Monday, November 29. On the day the steel is delivered, it will begin to go up right away, and the new gym structure will begin to take shape. Construction of additional gym space will allow the current gym space to be used as a flexible space for lunchroom and PE activities.
