School Levies Voter Pamphlet Statement Committees

School Levies Voter Pamphlet Statement Committees

A replacement Educational Programs & Operations Levy and a replacement School Technology & Capital Projects Levy

Lake Washington School District (LWSD) will have two replacement levies on the February 10, 2026, ballot. Information on the levies is available here.

Election regulations require LWSD to appoint members to “pro” and “con” committees who are willing to write statements for the local voters’ pamphlet. Since there is an organized promotional campaign committee, the Lake Washington Citizens Levy Committee, the district has asked that organization to name the three individuals who will serve on the “pro” committee.

The district must also solicit members for a “con” committee for the voter’s pamphlet. If you would like the district to consider you for appointment to the committee who will be asked to write a statement in opposition, please email your name, mailing address, phone number, email address and a brief statement of interest to LWSD Communications Department (communications@lwsd.org), no later than 4:00 p.m. on November 7, 2025. Please identify which of the two committees you would like to participate in:

  • Con Committee: Replacement of Existing Educational Programs & Operations Levy
  • Con Committee: Replacement of Existing School Technology & Capital Projects Levy

The School Board will officially take action to name members to each committee.
