27 schools recognized in 2021-22 and 18 schools recognized in 2022-23
Redmond, Wash. – The Office of the Superintendent of Public Instruction (OSPI) has announced that 35 different LWSD schools have been recognized through the Washington School Recognition Program between the 2021-22 and 2022-23 school year.
Redmond, Wash. - On Wednesday, May 29, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) announced that Lake Washington School District (LWSD) will receive funding for two new electric buses.

Lake Washington School District (LWSD) is located between Lake Washington and the Cascade Mountains, to the east of Seattle. Covering 76 square miles, LWSD is the public school district for the cities of Kirkland and Redmond as well as about half of Sammamish. On the north end of the district, some Bothell and Woodinville residents also attend our schools. The district map shows school locations and boundaries.
