Rockwell school construction

The new school structure at Rockwell Elementary continues to transform as the roof installation continues and work on the exterior of the building picks up speed. Windows are being installed and ongoing roof work will allow for the inside of the new school to be sheltered from the rain and the cold.

 
McAuliffe students celebrate Black History Month with assembly

Students across McAuliffe Elementary came together on Wednesday, February 4, for a powerful and inspiring Black History Month assembly honoring the achievements, leadership and cultural contributions of Black Americans throughout history. The event featured student presenters who shared reflections on influential historical figures, including Martin Luther King Jr., Harriet Tubman, Rosa Parks, Katherine Johnson, President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama. Their presentations highlighted the lasting impact these trailblazers have had on civil rights, science, government and American society.
