infant and toddler daycare program offered oN-SITE AT EMERSON CAMPUS
Lake Washington School District offers an infant and toddler daycare program on the Emerson Campus, licensed by Washington State Department of Health and Human Services (DSHS).
Space availability is limited to 8-11 children per day depending on the age ranges of children served, as determined by DSHS rules, current staffing and facility capacity.
Eligibility and cost
Priority access to daycare is as follows:
- Children of students
- Siblings of students
- Children of Emerson Campus staff
- Children of LWSD staff
- Children of community members
The daycare serves infants and toddlers from four weeks old to four years old, up to eight hours per day (from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.), five days per week following the student school calendar.
Fees for students with a child or children are reimbursed to the district by DSHS.
Fees are charged monthly from September through June. Fees are prorated for those using the program less than five days per week. Priority is given to full-time enrollment. Part-time enrollment is on a space available basis.
