The Extended Day waitlist for the 2026-27 school year is now open!
To join our waitlist, a student must be registered at the school in which they are requesting Extended Day enrollment. Incoming kindergarteners must be registered prior to joining our waitlist. We look forward to serving your family!
Interested in child care for your children before and after the elementary school day in the Lake Washington School District? Some elementary schools in the district offer child care for students at the school, known as the Extended Day program. The District is responsible for that program and both hires and supervises the staff involved.
Our community non-profit partners, YMCA and Boys & Girls Clubs, also rent school facilities to offer child care. Those programs are not run by the district. The staff is hired and supervised by the organization listed.
This list includes both options for your convenience and provides contact information. Please confirm times, costs and space availability with each program.
