Lake Washington School District (LWSD) recognizes the importance of providing opportunities for students to meet with and learn from community members. There are three different mentoring opportunities available to correspond with mentor interests and availability.

    • Reducing barriers to regular school attendance
    • Increasing opportunities for participation in athletics and activities
    • Providing positive and harmonious school environments, where diversity is respected and encouraged

    Attendance

    Attendance matters to academic performance. Students are chronically absent if they miss 10% of school days - that's only two days a month.
