Coronavirus (COVID-19) Information
Lake Washington School District (LWSD) has developed a facility re-opening timeline that is in accordance with Washington's Safe Start phased approach. As King County meets requirements to move into each phase, LWSD will reopen our athletic facilities in accordance with guidance from the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and Public Health - Seattle and King County.
Tennis courts at our middle school and high school have been open since June 11. Tracks will be open for walking and jogging only once King County is in Phase 2. Fields will remain closed. We will update our communities as more of our facilities open to the public.
Please remember to put safety first when gathering to play. LWSD urges visitors to practice social distancing and good hygiene and to follow Public Health - Seattle and King County Guidelines.

We want to update you on grading for this semester based on the new information districts have received from the state Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction (OSPI). At the end of April, OSPI provided new rules and guidance about grading in light of the COVID-19 school closures. The rules are intended to address the current and future needs of students given the difficult conditions we all continue to experience during this global health crisis.
