Lake Washington School District (LWSD) recognizes the importance of providing opportunities for students to meet with and learn from community members. There are three different mentoring opportunities available to correspond with mentor interests and availability.
The National Merit Scholarship Corporation (NMSC) announced today that six Lake Washington School District (LWSD) students will receive National Merit $2500 Scholarships.
Eleven schools from the Lake Washington School District (LWSD) have been recognized for exemplary performance or for making significant progress closing opportunity and achievement gaps in the Washington School Improvement Framework (WSIF) measures.

Lake Washington School District (LWSD) is located between Lake Washington and the Cascade Mountains, to the east of Seattle. Covering 76 square miles, LWSD is the public school district for the cities of Kirkland and Redmond as well as about half of Sammamish. On the north end of the district, some Bothell and Woodinville residents also attend our schools. The district map shows school locations and boundaries.
