After competing in four trials on Zoom February 12-13, the International Community School (ICS) “Crimson” team took first place at the East King County Mock Trial Tournament. They will go on to the state tournament March 17-21.
Lake Washington School District (LWSD) students have always excelled in art and writing, and this year is no different. Thirty-five LWSD students were recognized during this year’s Scholastic Art & Writing Awards. Environmental & Adventure School (EAS) qualified for the recognition for the first time this year. The shared campus of Carl Sandburg Elementary and Discovery Community School have earned the recognition for five consecutive years.
