The LWSD Green Team gave away 60 reusable water bottles to new teachers during laptop pickup on August 10 at Juanita High School. They encouraged teachers to bring their bottles when they returned for Educator Introduction Academy the following week. 

District sustainability efforts rely on the participation of every person in the district, including new teachers and staff. To support these efforts, teachers helped create a poster and wrote down one green habit to start this year. 

Cascade Water Alliance donated the water bottles as part of its “We Need Water” campaign. Teachers also learned how King County Green Schools supports student Green Teams around the district.
