International Community School (ICS) students are looking toward a green future. The students are part of the Sustainability Ambassadors program. They presented a sustainability update to the Kirkland Chamber of Commerce on September 14. The presentation included economic data, regional green schools initiatives, and achievable goals for the future.

The ICS students began working on climate change solution projects during their eighth grade Earth Sciences class. Peter Donaldson, who directs Sustainability Ambassadors, was a guest speaker in the class. He helped them launch their projects.
