Eastlake High School (EHS) students recently celebrated one of India’s most important festivals, Diwali. The EHS Indian Student Association welcomed more than 500 students and their families to campus on November 18 to see students performing traditional dances. They also played games and dinner was provided for their parents and school friends. Diwali recognizes the spiritual triumph of light over darkness. The festival is a celebration of good over evil, knowledge over ignorance and is known as the Festival of Lights.
