Sixteen students from Lake Washington School District (LWSD) have achieved something that less than one-half of 1% of test takers achieve. These students earned the highest possible ACT composite score of 36.
Tesla STEM junior finalist in USA Biolympiad
Rohan Iyer, a junior from Nikola Tesla STEM High School was the only finalist from Washington state in the USA Biolympiad (USAB). The USA Biolympiad (USAB) is a premiere biology competition for high school students in the United States. The annual competition provides "motivation, curricular resources and skills training to take them beyond their classroom experience to the level of international competitiveness." Students take two rounds of challenging exams in order to qualify for one of 20 national finalist spots and the chance to participate in an international competition. Congratulations Rohan!
