Students at Nikola Tesla STEM High School (Tesla STEM) have some serious business skills. Dozens of students from Tesla STEM competed at the Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) State Leadership Conference in Spokane between April 10-13. Six individuals and teams finished in first place.
Redmond High School student is second to win national Young Achiever award in 2020-21 school year
Positive role model. Successful achiever. Good citizen. These are all phrases that define an International Leadership Network Young Achiever. Redmond High School freshman Vanesha Hari was recently named a 2021 Young Achiever in the 8-10 grade category. She is the only person from Washington state and just one of 16 in the country to be recognized with this award in her age group. Clara Barton Elementary fifth grader Gaurangi Gupta was also named a 2021 Young Achiever for her age group this year.
According to their website, Young Achievers is a nationwide program that promotes community as well as the positive accomplishments of young people. They are also recognized as good citizens in their schools and communities and competent scholars who have achieved success in a variety of areas.
