Prepared for their futures: Twelve LWSD students prove that they are future business leaders at National Conference

    Twelve Lake Washington School District students walked away with awards at the Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) National Leadership Conference held in Anaheim, Calif. from June 29-July 2. Students from International Community School (ICS) and Nikola Tesla STEM High School (Tesla STEM) placed in their category at this national competition:

    • Daniel Chen, Allison Li and Yash Talwar, sixth place, Business Plan, ICS
    • Alina Herri, Shruthi Kondaboina and Saba Tabatabai, second place, Digital Video Production, ICS
    • Aliya Shabbir, second place, Electronic Career Portfolio, ICS
    • Rohan Patel and Kamaniya Sathish, third place, Emerging Business Issues, ICS
    • Maxwell Wang, sixth place, Introduction to Business, Tesla STEM
    • Taylor Caragher and Sarah Yang, fourth place, Social Media Campaign, ICS
