Over 75 Lake Washington High School (LWHS) students and their parents learned to identify scholarship sources and develop scholarship application techniques at the LWHS Scholarship Market Workshop on November 8. The workshop was designed for seniors and their parents, but all LWHS students were invited to attend. The LWHS College and Career Center hosted the event. Their goal was to provide an opportunity for students and families to discuss best practices for scholarship searching, including how to match students with scholarship characteristics. They hope this event will help prepare students for life after high school.
