Rose Hill Elementary literacy night invites super heroes from the community as guest readers

    Rose Hill Elementary Literacy Night

Every year, Rose Hill Elementary hosts students and families for an evening full of fun reading games and activities to promote the importance of reading as a family. This year, real-life super heroes (police officers, firefighters, members of the military and healthcare providers) were invited to read with students. Kids also had the opportunity to share their reading skills through the Reading with Rover program, which pairs kids and dogs together for a furry, cuddly reading session. Thanks to the efforts of Rose Hill’s Safety Net Team, nearly 400 students and families enjoyed a fun evening celebrating literacy.
