Lake Washington School District’s Bus Drivers Association collected 884 toys on December 2 for their “Stuff the Bus” event. The group partnered with Hopelink to donate all the collected toys to families in need this holiday season. The drivers parked a school bus in the Redmond Fred Meyer parking lot. They dressed in festive outfits including one Santa Claus costume as community members dropped off the toys. 

This was the first year for the “Stuff the Bus” event. It was so successful that the bus drivers plan to make this an annual event with more dates and locations.
