Franklin Elementary choir presents a musical journey around the world
Franklin Elementary choir students and choir director Shawna Sandstrom presented “Around the World” on December 8. The performance featured songs from countries and cultures that honor Franklin diversity and winter celebrations. Students sang songs in the many languages spoken by families at Franklin and performed “Franklin Spirit,” the school song composed by Ms. Sandstrom. The concert had a little bit of everything – song, dance and live instruments.
