Video: Levy funds provide additional space for students at Lake Washington High School

Thanks to the 2019 Capital Construction Levy, Lake Washington High School has completed projects to add more space for students in class, in the new auxiliary gym and while they are in the commons area.

The new North Wing on campus added 20 new “world class” classrooms and shared space. The new classrooms were built with a focus on math, science, and Career and Technical Education (CTE) classes.

The levy also provided funding for a new auxiliary gym with enough space to fit the entire student body for assemblies and a more comfortable viewing environment for athletics and activities.

Lastly, the commons area now has enough space for students to sit more comfortably during lunch and room for students to focus on their schoolwork when they need it.
