Teachers with new classrooms in the Lake Washington High School addition spent time in August unpacking boxes and preparing their classrooms. Students at Lake Washington High School had a chance to see inside the new wing and meet some of their teachers during textbook and supply pickup. The new 20-classroom addition includes science, CTE and general classrooms, as well as teacher planning space and two central shared spaces.

The commons expansion on the second floor above the main commons is also complete.

The 10 portable classrooms at the school have been relocated to Inglewood Middle School, Kirkland Middle School and Rose Hill Middle School to support additional space needs at those schools.
