Election Night Results

Dear LWSD community,

We are excited to share that our three levies on the February 8 ballot appear likely to be approved by voters.

This continued support from our community helps us ensure excellence for all of our students and will provide funding for staff, programs, technology and safe and healthy buildings. This levy funding helps us bridge the gap between what the state funds and what our students need.

We asked voters to consider three funding measures, including:

Replacement of Expiring Educational Programs and Operations (EP&O) levy to continue funding for school staff, programs, early learning and student opportunities like arts, music and athletics

Replacement of Expiring School Technology and Capital Projects levy to continue funding for student computers, school technology and to help ensure our school buildings are safe and maintained.

The Building Excellence Construction levy to fund facility construction projects to accommodate our rapid enrollment growth and continue to provide learning environments that promote excellence for students.

All local levies approved by voters stay in our district to support our students, staff and schools.

Thank you to our community for supporting these measures.
