This year, two LWSD safety patrollers, Arthur Chen of Ben Franklin Elementary and Max Robert Miller of Clara Barton Elementary were honored as Outstanding AAA School Safety Patrollers.
NASA astronaut Anne McClain has done quite a bit in the last year and a half. She spent nearly seven of those months aboard the International Space Station (ISS).
Earlier this school year, fourth- and fifth- grade students at Norman Rockwell Elementary had a special video chat with Tom Angleberger, a New York Times best-selling author.
In early November, students and families filled the school to mingle and explore the diverse community at Wilder.
As students plan their high school career, it’s important to look beyond just making sure they earn the right number of credits in the right subject areas. Students should begin thinking about and planning for their future career and post-secondary education.
