Students in Katie Jacobs’ fourth grade class at Franklin Elementary worked on building hydraulic powered claws in class during the month of May. This end of the year STEM project led to seeing life-sized machines up close and in person.
Live Wednesday Virtual College Events
Are you a student interested in exploring colleges and careers?
Four LWSD high schools have joined forces this year to bring live college and career events every Wednesday to you and your family! There will be career panels focusing on different pathways to build awareness around the broad array of career opportunities. Career panels are a great way for students to hear from, and interact with, professionals in a particular career field. Students can gain insight from the panelists and the varied paths they took to get where they are today. For more information, please contact your school college and career specialist.
Can’t make it to the event? Sessions are recorded and can be watched at any time within 180 days of event.
