Students from LWSD performed very well at the 2018 state MATHCOUNTS competition. So well, in fact, two students from Evergreen Middle School earned an all-expenses-paid trip to nationals in Washington, D.C.
Accelerated Programs
Lake Washington School District provides accelerated academic programs for students in kindergarten through 12th grade. These programs are designed to meet the learning styles and needs of students with superior intellectual, academic, and creative abilities. Children who demonstrate exceptional ability, exceed grade level standards in literacy and math, and possess strong motivation to excel are good candidates.
