Academic Support

Academic Support - Teacher & Student

Academic Support provides leadership to ensure success for students receiving academic interventions, services to help students acquire English language proficiency, services for Native American students, and services designed to help mitigate the effects of poverty on student learning and success in school. The team supports efforts focused on ensuring academic success for every student by collaborating with district leaders, school principals, and teams to develop tiered instruction to increase student access and engagement, close achievement and opportunity gaps, and support student learning and success.

Lake Washington School District recognizes there are a number of families in need in our community. It can be difficult to know where to turn when you need help. That is why the Homeless Liaison developed a list of community resources to support students, parents and families in our community, whether homeless or not.

The list of community resources is organized by type of services offered. This list is not intended to be complete.
