A team of 19 hardworking students took on the state’s best in this year’s Science Olympiad. It paid off for the group from Evergreen Middle School, as they are on their way to nationals.
Volunteer Programs
Our district's parent and community volunteers provide tremendous support every day to our schools. Our volunteer office is involved in recruiting and placing volunteers for specific school needs, such as health screenings and the AVID program.
Volunteering in LWSD - Share your talents, gain experience and inspire a child. Volunteer in the classroom, library or school office; help with after school programs or special events.
LINKS Volunteer Program - LINKS volunteers are community members looking for a specific volunteer opportunity. LINKS recruits community volunteers to act as academic mentors and lunch buddies.
