Season of Giving

Season of Giving

'Tis the Season of Giving in Lake Washington School District (LWSD). Each year schools and district buildings across LWSD think of ways to benefit those most in need during the holiday season. They do so by holding food or clothing drives, or collecting items to donate to others in the community. The items collected are distributed to families and non-profit organizations throughout the area.

This list will be updated regularly to share what some of the schools are doing this year to make the season a little brighter:

Alcott food drive

To celebrate the season of giving, Alcott student leadership is partnering with Northwest Harvest for a food drive through December 13.

RHMS - Stella Schola Hygiene Drive

Rose Hill Middle School and Stella Schola students are collecting hygiene items to stock the pantry to support their students in need.

Audubon Holiday Helping Hands

Audubon Elementary is collecting gifts for 13 kids in Audubon, with guidance from the school's counselor, to help make their holidays brighter.

Wilder Giving Tree

For more than 20 years, McAuliffe students, families, and staff have come together to generously buy holiday gifts to help McAuliffe families in need celebrate this holiday season.

Wilder Giving Tree

The Wilder community is helping this holiday season to bring a little extra joy to families at Wilder.

LWSD Winter Toy Drive

Help spread holiday cheer in our community this season by supporting the LWSD Winter Toy Drive.
