Equity Advisory Committee

The Equity Advisory Committee will explore the progress that students, families, and school staff are experiencing with efforts to make LWSD schools more equitable for all students. The committee will discuss recommendations and considerations for ongoing improvement related to equitable, culturally responsive, and anti-racist practices. 

NEW! Equity Analysis Workgroup (2025-26):
The Equity Advisory Committee will focus on evaluating and revising LWSD’s common definition of equity. They will also evaluate and revise LWSD’s Equity Analysis Tool and then develop guidance for the organization’s use of the Equity Analysis Tool.
