Twain Elementary and LWSD’s Equity & Family Engagement Department teamed up to host two STEM nights this March.
Students at Twain Elementary held an assembly to honor Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
Over 650 students and their families attended International Night at Mark Twain Elementary on October 26. Many of the students hosted their own cultural table where they showcased their heritage through a festive display featuring items, artifacts, stories and traditions; as well as native dishes made from their family recipes.
Thanks to our voters, LWSD construction teams have been busy this summer. Most of the summer construction projects were completed with a few finishing up in the next few weeks. All of these projects will give our students the space they need to thrive and be future ready.
Construction has been ongoing at a handful of our schools this year. As we wrap up the 2021-22 school year, we would like to provide an update on these projects.
The construction of the new gymnasium at Mark Twain Elementary is really starting to take shape.
