When schools closed in March, the traditional end-of-year band concerts that showcase a year’s worth of practice and progress were effectively canceled. Rose Hill Middle School (RHMS) Band Instructor, Angela Laulainen got creative during the remote learning period and had her students record their parts at home.
Child Care Resources
We know that this extended school closure will impact many of our families. The district has worked with community partners to provide child care for students in grades K-5. Priority will go to health care providers and first responders.
The YMCA and Boys & Girls Clubs of King County are providing care for families in our district that need care. They have multiple locations to choose from. See below for contact and registration information.
