The Lake Washington School District affirms the authority of the United States Constitution and the Washington State Constitution in guaranteeing to all citizens the right to free exercise of religion and the right to be free of sectarian control or influence. Lake Washington School District offices and schools shall encourage an atmosphere of mutual respect, understanding, and appreciation for all members of the school community and for the diversity of cultural, economic, racial, and religious backgrounds.
