Students from LWSD performed very well at the 2018 state MATHCOUNTS competition. So well, in fact, two students from Evergreen Middle School earned an all-expenses-paid trip to nationals in Washington, D.C.
Strategic Plan
As a public school district, Lake Washington School District is responsible to its community, including students, parents, community members and taxpayers. A strategic plan helps to guide the direction and focus the priorities of the district.
To accomplish our mission and vision for students, we believe we must stay true to four core values and focus on accomplishing five strategic goals. Strategic efforts to accomplish our goals are guided by three fundamental ideals, which are board priorities.

The district’s strategic plan specifies key performance indicators and targets associated with each strategic goal. The strategic plan highlights the strategic efforts and work underway, guided by our values and ideals, to accomplish each goal.
