Would you wear a watch and slippers made from carbon dioxide emissions? Or brush your teeth using toothpaste made from CO₂? Before the pandemic, students at Evergreen Middle School were learning about real products that capture and store carbon dioxide that would otherwise go into the atmosphere.
It is the policy of the Lake Washington School District, to the extent authorized by Washington State Law, to provide reasonable school health services to all students. Nursing procedures will be made available:
- if authorized by state law and
- if such procedures can be done reasonably within the regular duties of the school health specialist job description.
The Superintendent will establish administrative procedures to provide for catheterization of students; asthma rescue procedures; and the prevention of anaphylaxis, in accordance with state law.
