Would you wear a watch and slippers made from carbon dioxide emissions? Or brush your teeth using toothpaste made from CO₂? Before the pandemic, students at Evergreen Middle School were learning about real products that capture and store carbon dioxide that would otherwise go into the atmosphere.
Home for Hospital Instruction

Upon request from a parent or an adult student, home or hospital instruction shall be provided to both handicapped and other students who are unable to attend school for an estimated period of four weeks or more because of physical disability or noncommunicable illness. A written statement from the student's physician verifying that the student will not be able to attend school for an estimated period of four weeks or more shall accompany the request. The statement shall include an explanation of the physician's diagnosis.
