Two students hosted a story time event followed by a successful book drive through a nonprofit called “Brown Kids Read.” Kisa Dupe, a senior from Redmond High School (RHS), and Kennedy Roberts, a junior from Tesla STEM High School, joined forces to diversify literature for elementary readers at Horace Mann Elementary.
Horace Mann Elementary School is now home to a bustling Math Club, igniting a passion for numbers and problem-solving among its young scholars!
Greg Nakata has a very special set of skills. With a background in architecture and design, Nakata is taking run of the mill toys and turning them into items that can bring greater access and inclusion to people with disabilities.
